Meet Our Assistant Director!

Amber from 2020-2023 courageously fighting breast cancer and going through recovery & a few photos with her youngest daughter!

We would like to introduce you to our Assistant Director, Amber Poe!

Start Date at Living Waters: June 2021

Little bit about: Amber has lived local and always taken care of people in assisted living homes, nursing homes, etc. She has a very compassionate heart for people and treats them like family. She loves the work she does with the elderly and ALWAYS has a smile on her face. Her nickname at work is Dynamite (given to her by a past resident & it has stuck). Amber is married and has 3 children, Dakota, Brittaney and Ariana. She also has 2 granddaughters and 2 grandsons and loves spending time with all of them. Amber is also THEE ultimate chicken mom! Many of her coworkers enjoy the delicious eggs her chickens lay! Something that Amber is very proud of is beating the breast cancer that she was diagnosed with in 2020.

Amber loves to color, sew, garden and is very crafty. She is always coming up with new ideas and crafts for the residents to do.

Amber has been with us here at Living Waters since the beginning and is such a light to have. Amber is kind, giving and is always thinking about everyone else around her. She will put a smile on your face and is the rough and tough we need at times!

Be on the look out when you pass us by, Amber might be in the road assisting the snapping turtle ("Bertha") back to the lake so she doesn't get hit!
